How To Give
The Ann Arbor Skatepark is truly a product of our non-profit, the city, county and the amazing community which have passionately supported our dream since the beginning. The Friends of the Ann Arbor Skatepark is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the mission: to promote and preserve the Ann Arbor Skatepark as a permanent, free, public resource. To fulfill this mission we offer outreach, programming, events, and park maintenance. Please help us keep our skatepark and the programming free by supporting us financially.
Donations will go to fund:
All Girls Skate - This free program has been running since the skatepark opened. It is designed to teach girls how to skate. Funding will provide skateboard instructors/mentors, snacks, water, t-shirts, and swag.
Peace Skate - A partnership with the Peace Neighborhood Center’s summer program. Funding provides skateboarding instructors/mentors, skateboards, protective gear, t-shirts, and water. This wildly successful program was introduced in 2022 and we already know demand is growing!
Events - Contests, concerts, and pop-up happenings.
Upkeep - Park repairs and improvements.
Ways to give to the park:
Purchase A2Skatepark T-Shirts and Sweatshirts from the Ann Arbor Parks Department online store (all proceeds go to the Skatepark).
Purchase a Skate Witches shirt from Bonfire (all proceeds go to the skatepark).
