Yesterday, Trevor and I were interviewed on WCBN 88.3 FM's Interactive Technologies show, hosted by veteran skater Pan.

Trevor did a great job, while I suffered through my cold (I was just happy to suppress most of my coughs). We covered a lot of basic information (e.g. "What is a skatepark") but I think we got the right message out for the general public.

Skatepark locations

Trevor and I met with Parks staff on Thursday, Jan 10 to continue discussing possible locations. We've got some in mind now, with Vets, Buhr, and Southeast Area parks as our top contenders. Dec 18, 2007 PAC meeting minutes

Hopefully Trevor will put up the agenda we had for the meeting - we spent a lot of time answering all the questions they had for us from the last meeting, including a show of support (almost 1000 signatures from our paper and online petition, and a full house in City Chambers for the meeting).

Here's a quick summary of the PAC's responses, paraphrased, and recounted from the squirrely notes I scribbled down at the podium. Hopefully we'll also get the video of the meeting up also.…

some quick notes from our meeting on Saturday (please reply with

I love watching you guys and think it would be FAB if there was a skate park! I also think you guys deserve it! Been meaning to get involved. I want to start attending the council meetings. Last night's was a bit far out. I got rid of my car and depend on my moped. Since I'm at Packard and Platt, Sequoia was a bit further out than I was in the mood for. The next one's @ 7 on the 7th?
