The Ann Arbor Fourth of July Parade was a hoot! The Ann Arbor Skatepark Action Committee was represented by our giant skateboard. A bunch of supporters joined us to hand out limited edition skatepark stickers, and the crowd was going nuts. Go Skateboarding Day and Street Team

On Saturday, June 21 from 1-4:00 PM Sun & Snow, Launch Board Shop, and the Ann Arbor Skatepark Action Committee will celebrate Go Skateboarding Day with a skate jam at the Westgate Shopping Center in Ann Arbor. Thank you for your posted comments. I appreciate what you had to say and I am sorry if you think I tried to come off as someone that thinks he knows more about skating than anyone on your site. Let me clarify. I am a skater. I have been skating for over 15 years. I have worked for George Leichtweis on and off for over 10 years. I know skating. I am an in-line skater. I have been selling skating equipment for over 5 years. I would love for your group to buy a skate park from me. I do not see that happening. I did not sign up on your site to get you to buy from me. I signed up to try and make contact. I sent an email over a moth ago and got no response. So today I signed up. The pic I posted are mostly of parks sold by other Solo reps. The only park I have sold is the one to Kalamazoo. If you feel that my member ship is not right for your site, then I will remove it. If you would like help with getting a skate park, from someone who knows and has worked with a lot of the people you will need to work with to get this done, let me know. Feel free to email me or check out my site for a number to call. You can find the address with a little searching on the web.

I think the location next to the freeway is the best. away from the public. you know how sk8ers are with grafitti and the punk rock life style. sk8 parks are best in the ghetto on the wrong side of the tracks. all park I have traveled to have been in bad parts of towns. then you wont have to deal with the man comin down on you.

If you want, I have a ew ideas to make the skatepark friendly for all sports that it could be used for other than skateboarding (rollerblading, biking, and even scottering)
